Young adults with ADHD can be inattentive, impulsive, creative and complex, and managing behaviour and communication can be tough – but you’re never alone. Our monthly sessions for parents of young adults (18+) with ADHD are designed to support you.

Who Can Attend
If your young adult (18+) has been diagnosed with, or suspected ADHD
• Parents or carers of young adults (18+) with ADHD or suspected ADHD.
• Individuals seeking support and shared experiences in managing their young adults' transition to adulthood.
Note: Please do not bring anyone who is not affected by ADHD or anyone under 18. If your child is under 18, please visit our Parents of Children and Young People Peer Support Session.
What To Expect
A safe and friendly environment in which parents can share experiences and explore coping strategies.
Discussion topics include:
• Living independently for the first time
• Self-esteem
• Managing further education or employment
• Budgeting and time management
• Handling coursework and attending lectures or work on time
• Cooking and general self-care
