With the help of our trained volunteers, our parent-peer group provides a friendly environment for members to educate each other, share life stories, and compile tips and perspectives on various aspects of life with children with ADHD.

Who Can Attend

If your child or young person has been diagnosed with, or suspected ADHD

This group is for:

• Parents/carers with a child or young person with ADHD or suspected ADHD.
• Anyone in the process of seeking a diagnosis for their child.
• Parents/carers looking to share and gain coping strategies and support.

Note: Please do not bring anyone who is not affected by ADHD or anyone under 18. If your child is over 18, please visit our Parents of Young Adult Peer Support Session.

What To Expect

A safe and friendly environment in which parents can share experiences and explore coping strategies.

Discussion topics include:

• Sleep
• Organisation
• Self-esteem
• Behaviour support
• Parent-child relationships
• Self-care ideas for parents
